 As The World Turns

After Spencer stopped by with flowers for her, Katie insisted to Brad that she knew the new gal tried to poison her with the bad Chinese take-out. Brad didn't believe her but then backed off when Katie asked if he believed Spencer over his own wife. Henry interrupted and downplayed Katie's concern. He reluctantly agreed to drive her to the studio where Spencer caught her snooping in the garbage can for remnants from the take out meal. Later, Katie explained to Brad why she was jealous. He told her that there was no one else for him but her. Meanwhile, Vienna and Henry broke into Spencer's room at the Lakeview. Though they found a locked suitcase, Spencer's arrival forced them to put it back unopened. After Janet confessed that she thought he was upstairs with Carly, Jack admits that he was but assures her it wasn't anything planned. Though he insisted nothing happened, Janet asked if he would have slept with Carly if she hadn't rung the doorbell. Jack claimed he was up there because he missed what he used to be. Janet announced that she deserved better than being his consolation prize. When Vienna called to ask her to take the diner deposit to the bank, Janet grabbed the cash and ran out. She angrily confronted Carly who accused Janet of taunting her that she could sleep with Jack. Calming down, Carly told her that Janet was better for Jack and that she wanted them to be together. Parker asked his mother about finding Jack's watch up in her bedroom. She assured him that they were over so Parker confronted Jack at the farm. When Jack admitted that he didn't know what he was doing, Parker suggested that he stay away until he did know. Carly arrived and after Parker left, she and Jack decided they were not back together. Just as Janet realized she forgot to go to the bank, a mystery man grabbed her from behind and took the cash, her purse and her ring.

GUIDING LIGHT

Though Cassie assured Cyrus she was ready to beat any lie detector test, R.J. caught her lying and pointed out she twitched her nose when she lied. After Matt chastised Dinah for not spending any time with his daughter, Dinah handed Grady a cellphone to use for the ransom drop off. Lizzie used the key Grady dropped to cut through the ropes that bound her hands. Just as she freed her hands, Grady returned and tied her up again. As he did so, Lizzie used the key to scratch his chest. Billy, Beth, Alan and the others argued about what to do regarding Lizzie and the ransom demand. When Alan suggested that this might be a scheme thought up by Bill, Dinah stepped up and claimed that Bill was going to give up the business so that he could spend his life with Lizzie. Bill later thanked Dinah who again convinced him not to go to the police. He asked her to enlist Mallet's help. Dinah offered Mallet a part time security position at WSPR to get him away from Marina. Back inside the mansion, Bill locked Alan inside his room. He and Dinah met with Mallet who insisted on accompanying Bill to make the drop. Dinah then warned Grady that Bill wouldn't be alone. Grady sent a text to Bill with the instructions. Bill left with the money but Dinah distracted Mallet by confessing she may still love him. Wearing a ski mask and a heavy parka, Grady confronted Bill. Cassie passed her test but Marina used the machine to question Cyrus about the woman in his life. He finally gave up because she wouln't believe anything he said. Marina tried to warn Cassie about Cyrus but Cassie wasn't interested. Out of his wheelchair, Alan sought Billy's help in rescuing Lizzie.
