Ridge advised Brooke that while he'd allow her to share a child with Nick, he would not accept sharing her with Nick. Brooke was outraged and reminded him that she was her own person. Apologizing, Ridge pointed out that the love she had in her eye during the photo session with Nick and Jack should be for him, not Nick. While Rick was waiting for Taylor at Il Giordano to set the plans for their reception with a flirtatious catering manager, Stephanie told her that Nick was an "ass." Stephanie urged Taylor to realize that she could have Ridge back in her life. Taylor pointed out that she was again pushing her to get between Ridge and Brooke and she would not allow herself to be hurt once more. Stephanie then told her that Rick was too young for her and urged her to go after what was hers. Taylor stopped by Nick's, too late for the party for Jack and found Ridge arguing with Brooke. Taylor got Ridge to explain he was upset because of Brooke's feelings for Nick and when Taylor admitted she was having second thoughts about giving up Jack, Ridge took her out. Later, Taylor apologized for not talking to Ridge first about giving up custody of Jack. He advised her that there was nothing he wouldn't do for her. Sensing he still had problems with Nick, Taylor urged Ridge not to marry Brooke. As she repeated it a few times, Brooke entered and accused her of wanting Ridge. She angrily ordered Taylor to stay away. Rick was disgusted when Stephanie sat down in Taylor's place at the restaurant. She warned him that Taylor was going to get back with Ridge. Rick didn't believe her and left her to go taste some cake samples.

In the middle of kissing Amber, Daniel pulled back and decided that he couldn't continue until he ended things with Colleen. He explained that he wanted them to start their relationship over again but that she must agree to no lying, no cheating and no secrets. As they started kissing again, Billy interrupted so Daniel left and ran to find Colleen. He insisted he didn't mean to hurt her. Amber confided to Billy that she'd been ordered to move out of the penthouse. He offered to talk with Phyllis. Billy then found Colleen and suggested she was better off without Daniel. When he asked, Heather informed a curious Adam that she was getting closer to solving the case involving Walter's death. Later, introducing her father to agents from the FBI and Mexican office of investigation, Heather asked Paul to question Nikki about what happened in Mexico. Remembering that Karen thought that Tyra was in love with him, Neil offered Tyra a job at Indigo again. When Devon offered, Tyra agreed to move in with him until she earned enough money for a place of their own. Karen pointed out to Neil that he invited Tyra to stay with them but didn't ask Karen first. J.T. arrived at a hotel room in Rio and, registering under the name Christian Miller, left behind clothes and a hairbrush Victor used. He then ordered room service to add credence to the ruse. Adam guessed to Jack that Victor went to Mexico to kill Walter. Boasting that only he could get into the mind of the great Victor Newman, Jack then proceeded to dictate to him the story in "Victor's" own words for the forged diary. Paul found Nikki staying at the ranch and claimed that the "authorities" were looking for Victor. He warned her about the legal ramifications of what she may or may not be doing. Upset, she asked him to leave. Before he left, he noticed her suitcases.
